Colombo (CMB) (Bandaranaike International Airport) is 32km from the city. Buses go to the city every 30 minutes. Taxis are available. There are trains to Maradana Station, located 1.6km from the city centre (travel time – 1 hour 25 minutes). Airport facilities include duty-free shop, restaurant (24 hours), bar, snack bar, bank, post office, tourist information (24 hours) and car hire.
