Canadian Citizens
Canadians intending to visit Taiwan must be in possession of a passport which is valid for at least 6 months.
Tourist Visa: Not Required (for stays less than 14 days)
Business Visa: Not Required (for stays less than 14 days)
Student Visa: Required
Return Ticket: Required
Validity: Single-entry visitor: up to 60 days (depends on nationality and purpose of stay); up to two extensions of 60 days each may be granted by local police stations. These visas are valid for 3 months from the date of issue. Multiple-entry visitor: 6 months from the date of issue. Landing: 30 days. A visa is not required by travellers continuing their journey by the same or connecting aircraft on the same day, provided holding confirmed onward tickets and the necessary travel documentation and provided not departing from the transit lounge.
